This isn't exactly new news, but IMDb has picked up a NY Post story about Elisha Cuthbert dealing with fans who criticize her character's zany plotlines and what to expect for the rest of Day 5.
"I understood where they were coming from with all the comments and reviews. Nothing was ever directed towards my acting, it was directed toward the storylines, and that helped. If it would have been about me being a disaster, then it would have hurt a lot because I worked my a** off to make sure the storylines were believable. I know a lot of (fans) were frazzled about it, but I think now Kim is coming back in an intelligent way that makes sense for the show."One of the focuses of this season was supposed to be Jack's relationships with the people around him, so it's only obvious that the father-daughter relationship should be close to front-and-center.
And after the way they acted when they first saw each other last week, it looks like they'll have a lot of issues to work over. But then again, we've already got the dumb boyfriend/therapist story for Kim, so who knows if we'll even get a chance to enjoy the character. -- Jason Unger
As long as there are no cougars in CTU, I'm fine with Kim's return.
