Gaming With Jack Bauer and 24

Jack Bauer in 24: The Game When something's hot, people are going to try and bank on it and try to ... take it to the bank. With 24 hotter than ever (ratings up 16 percent over last season, according to Media Life magazine), we're seeing a lot of 24-related games, books and the like.

Of course, the biggest of them all is 24: The Game for the Playstation 2. I actually just bought the game on Saturday night, but I haven't had a chance to sit down and play it yet. Has anyone gotten through it at all?

Also available is 24: The Mobile Game, which will let you take Jack Bauer with you anywhere. I'm not that big into cell phone games, but Wireless IGN gave it a 9/10, which is significantly better than the score the PS2 version got from Electronic Gaming Monthly/1UP.com.

Speaking of 1UP.com, a couple of the guys over there got to tour the CTU set, and even meet the big man Kiefer himself! They've got a lot of pics of their fun times.

Come on 24 folks, hook me up! 24 Fodder takes on CTU ... I'd be there in a heartbeat.

Of course, a thread about playing Jack Bauer in a game has to bring up one of my favorite facts of Jack: Upon hearing that he was played by Kiefer Sutherland, Jack Bauer killed Sutherland. Jack Bauer gets played by no man.
