D'oh! Kiefer to Lend Voice to Simpsons

Contact Music is reporting that Kiefer will be voicing a character in an upcoming episode of the Simpsons, reportedly as an Army colonel who mistakes Homer as a terrorist.

Not that too much can be gleaned from an episode of the Simpsons, but with this character and Kiefer's role as a federal agent in the upcoming flick "The Sentinel", one has to wonder if our main man is being typecast with the success of 24.

Then again, he is voicing the character of a teenage lion in the animated "The Wild", so who knows. -- Jason
